Document Production

ALFA’s document production functionality allows clients to design their own templates. Using an integrated toolbar, bookmarks are added to a document then populated with ALFA data directly from the database.

This approach combines with ALFA workflow to make document requests as automatic and efficient a process as possible. When a case is progressed from one status to the next, the workflow engine generates the necessary correspondence and fees automatically. Batch document production can be run at any time, and all templates can be configured to be printed immediately, queued for central batch processing, or shown on screen for modification.

Based on factors such as customer type, product type and asset type, correspondence can be a single letter or a pack of documents. Mapping of these factors also allows control over the country and language for each document, and incorporates recipient preferences.

ALFA also supports the exporting of document content in industry-standard formats, such as XML, for use by external document management systems. Copies of all documents are saved to an internal archive, linked to the appropriate database item in ALFA, and are retrievable for future reference.
