Leasing Life: CHP implements ALFA in SMBC Leasing
CHP Consulting has won a deal to implement its ALFA Systems in SMBC Leasing, part of the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. The lessor's existing portfolio is also to be migrated into the new system.

Akira Monno, director at SMBC Leasing, said CHP's system provides the company with improved management information and reporting, with better visibility and control over the customer, asset, lease and treasury instrument details within its portfolio.SMBC Leasing's principal agreement, a £223 million joint venture with National Australia Bank to finance overground trains for the 2012 Olympics East London line extension, won the Leasing Transaction of the Year award at Leasing Life's Asset Finance Awards 2008.
