Version 4.6 of ALFA, the enterprise software platform for asset finance organisations, has been subject to major enhancements in a number of areas. Highlights include:

• Business Rules Engine: ALFA’s agile Business Rules Engine makes processes more flexible by allowing business users to define and modify business logic that previously required intervention from programmers. Organisations can evolve and improve their own unique ways of working, targeting specific business areas from new-business validation to credit evaluation and delinquency management.

• Enhanced Workflow: Further automation in workflow provides ever increasing service levels to customers and business partners alike, while ensuring that business resources are deployed intelligently. Tightly integrated communication with multiple sales channels allows heightened efficiency and process visibility for all parties.

• Web Originations: Sophisticated developments for browsers allow drastic advancements in web originations, avoiding bottlenecks and freeing up precious man hours. With finely honed online proposal submission and agreement management, the right service levels are provided to the sales force, while bidirectional interfaces feed in new business from proprietary systems automatically via the internet.

• International Compliance: Now in live use in USA and Canada, ALFA is compliant with a wide range of markets globally. Additional support includes US GAAP, sales tax, income and property taxes. ALFA’s multicurrency and multiregulatory capabilities continue to serve new regions so that diverse portfolios and business models are administered more easily.
