I joined CHP Consulting in March 2006 with 5 years' experience in IT and Project Management. Initially I was London-based, to undertake the comprehensive induction training programme. On returning to Sydney, I joined a team implementing our web-enabled vendor/broker quoting system.
I have worked for short assignments on UK-based projects, including the design and implementation of a reporting solution for a client on the outskirts of London. This has enabled me to see our package approach in operation and gain experience of the asset finance industry globally. More recently I have been assigned to an implementation project for a client based in Auckland, New Zealand. Responsible for the business readiness stream, I have been coordinating workshops and business process reviews to ensure the correct configuration of our software and assist the client in its preparations for roll-out and ongoing training and operation.
CHP has offered me a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. This includes presenting to our clients, producing detailed designs for software enhancements, developing and implementing new and existing modules, working with clients to develop their business processes, providing user training, supporting user testing, and providing post-implementation help and advice.
By ensuring that each consultant experiences a wide range of roles and increasing responsibility, CHP has kept me challenged and interested - my very reasons for joining a growing consultancy.
